Well, sort of. Actually he's hiding, behind some trees, because he just woke up from stasis and doesn't know what the fuck is going on. His ELITE GUARD training tells him that he should try and lay low until he gets a better idea of what's going down here.

He's about to hoof it and scout the area, when he's alerted to the sound of an approaching engine and cycles out his blasters...
